Growth role

AI GrowthIntern

Work directly with the founder to help turn client work, internal tools, AI experiments, and market insights into a repeatable growth engine.

01

The role

You will work directly with the founder to build the growth engine for an AI implementation business. That means taking the things already happening inside the company and turning them into useful, interesting, high-signal content and systems.

The exact mix will depend on your strengths, but the role should roughly split across content and growth, AI experimentation, and internal systems support.

  • Pull insights from sales calls, client calls, demos, and transcripts.
  • Turn real AI implementation work into content ideas, outlines, posts, demos, and briefs.
  • Prepare founder-led content for LinkedIn, X, short-form video, newsletters, and demos.
  • Study what strong AI firms, creators, consultants, and operators are doing.
  • Separate useful topics from overplayed ones.
  • Build small internal tools, workflows, or automations.
  • Test new AI tools and document what they can do.
  • Organize the company knowledge base so useful material becomes easier to reuse.

02

Experimentation is part of the job

To create useful content in AI, you need firsthand experience using the tools.

A meaningful chunk of this role involves experimenting with AI systems, tools, workflows, agents, and automations. The point: use the systems yourself so you can develop real judgment.

Each week, you will be expected to produce visible work including content angles, drafts, post drafts, workflow tests, demo ideas, internal system improvements, or research notes. This role requires learning by doing.

  • Test a new AI tool and document where it is useful.
  • Build a simple workflow from a real internal process.
  • Compare different approaches and explain the tradeoffs.
  • Identify whether an experiment should become content, a demo, or an internal system.

03

Who this is for

This fits someone early in their career who wants to get good quickly.

You might be a student, recent grad, aspiring founder, technical marketer, builder, or someone who is already deep into AI tools on your own. You do not need a perfect resume.

You do need curiosity, taste, agency, clear writing, speed of learning, comfort with ambiguity, and a real interest in AI tools and business workflows.

  • You are already experimenting with tools like Hermes, Claude Code, Codex, Pi, and other agentic systems.
  • You are building your own skills, hooks, or custom agent configurations.
  • You do not need to know all of them.
  • You do need to be the type of person who wants to learn them.
  • You are comfortable figuring things out without constant hand-holding.

04

What good looks like

Good work here means more than posting content. It helps build the operational backbone of the company growth engine.

An example of what you might handle is:

  • You run research on a market, account, or customer problem and come back with a fully built idea for a webinar, demo, or content series.
  • You help turn that idea into a strong outline or script, then work with us to tighten the angle before it goes live.
  • You help build the follow-up engine around the work: clips, posts, email copy, lead capture, notes, and next-step assets.

05

How we hire

We prefer evidence over interview performance. Most roles begin with paid contractor work on a real internal project. If the fit is strong, the relationship expands from there.

01

Short application.

Send a short note with who you are, what you are doing now, why this role interests you, and the AI tools you actively use.

02

Interview.

We talk for 30 minutes to an hour, depending on where the conversation goes. The goal is to understand how you think, what you are curious about, and whether the fit is worth testing with real work.

03

Paid work sample.

The sample may involve taking a transcript, demo, or rough project explanation and turning it into content angles, post drafts, short-form video ideas, a demo concept, or notes on what is commercially interesting.

04

3-month pilot.

If the work sample goes well, we start an initial paid pilot. After that, we decide together whether to expand, adjust, or move toward a larger role.

06

Why this is worth your time

Wielding AI efficiently is the single most valuable skill you can build in today's economy.

We will make you a top 1% AI operator. You will get paid to work on real client problems, internal systems, growth experiments, and actual implementation. You will have an inside view into how companies are scaling.

We want to work with ambitious people. You may want to:

  • Start your own business.
  • Become an AI engineer.
  • Launch a spin-out implementation firm.
  • Grow into a senior role at Dodo.

We are open to all of it. The point is to support your growth and help you become much more capable, wherever you take it.

Send proof of work.

Send a three-minute or less Loom video about why you are the person for this role, plus links to things you have done, built, written, shipped, or improved. Anything but a resume.

A human reviews applications, not software.
